Nasal spray for treating nasal congestion is used for colds, hay fever and sinusitis. Has vasoconstrictive and anti-edema action.
Composition per 1 ml. of nasal spray
1 mg naphazoline hydrochloride Chlorpheniramine maleate 2.5 mg. Naphazoline is an alpha-adrenomimetic, when applied to mucous membranes it has fast, pronounced and prolonged vasoconstrictive action. Used for acute rhinitis, allergic rhinitis, sinusitis, eustachitis, laryngitis, laryngeal edema of allergic origin, laryngeal edema due to irradiation, mucous membrane hyperemia after operations on the upper respiratory tract, to facilitate rhinoscopy, to stop nosebleeds, to prolong the action of local anesthetics used for surface anesthesia. Eases nasal breathing by reducing mucosal swelling in inflammations of the upper respiratory tract. Chlorphenamine maleate is an anti-allergic drug, has vasoconstrictive action and relieves itching (including eyes, nose), swelling and hyperemia of the mucous membranes of the nasal cavity, nasopharynx and sinuses, reduces nasal discharge, nasal congestion, tearing and eliminates sneezing. Aqueous isotonic solution.
Directions for use
Children over 12 years and adults: 1-2 presses on the dispenser in each nostril every 4-6 hours or as needed. Children 6-12 years: 1 press on the dispenser in each nostril every 4-6 hours or as needed. Do not use for children under 6 years without a doctor's instruction. Do not use the product for more than 5 consecutive days. Do not exceed recommended doses.
