Indications: symptomatic treatment of dry, non-productive cough (including pharyngitis, laryngitis, acute tracheitis and tracheobronchitis, flu, bronchopneumonia, chronic obstructive bronchitis, bronchial asthma, pulmonary emphysema, allergic and infectious-inflammatory respiratory tract diseases). Composition : each 100 ml contains 0.6 g. (600 mg.) levodropropizine. Does not contain alcohol. Levodropropizine is an antitussive agent that does not act on the central nervous system, suppresses release of neuropeptides and histamine. Helps reduce intensity and frequency of cough. Has bronchodilating action. Directions for use and dosage : orally until cough stops, but not more than 1 week. Children from 2 to 12 years — 5 ml of syrup up to three times a day with intervals of at least 6 hours (daily dose — 3 mg/kg). Adults and children over 12 years: 10 ml of syrup up to three times a day with intervals of at least 6 hours. The product should be taken between meals. Duration of treatment should not exceed seven days. If symptoms persist for more than 7 days, consult a doctor. Contraindications : hypersensitivity, excessive sputum secretion, severe liver function disorders, pregnancy, breastfeeding. Restrictions for use: severe renal failure, age under 2 years (safety and effectiveness of use not determined). Precautions: caution should be observed in patients with increased sensitivity when taking sedatives simultaneously. Use with caution while working for drivers of vehicles (drowsiness may occur).
